President Donald Trump has publicly boasted that he has "better blood" than most others due to his uncle, John G. Trump, a longtime MIT professor. This came during a speech in Hebron, Ky., where he criticized Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, one of only two House Republicans who voted in favor of an Iran war powers resolution aimed at preventing President Donald Trump from taking military action in the Middle East without congressional approval. This isn't the first time Trump has boasted about his uncle's long-term employment at MIT. However, an MIT spokesperson confirmed that John G., Trump, was not the longest-ever, but praised him as a valued member of the MIT community.
