Alaska, Southwest launch new nonstops out of San Diego International Airport

New nonstops from Alaska and Southwest airlines have begun service at San Diego International Airport, with two more scheduled by the end of the summer. The new direct flights include three California destinations and service to Dallas/Fort Worth and Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. Additionally, Southwest Airlines will add a direct flight to Boston on June 4 and one to Santa Barbara two months later. The airport now offers 87 nonstop destinations, the most in its history.
