Drivers describe terrifying moments trapped in Texoma hail storm

A hail storm in Fannin County, Texas, left a mother and her 16-month-old son trapped in a ditch during their commute to work. April Ashley was driving when the storm intensified and she lost visibility on the road. Her first instinct was to protect her child from the hail, which smashed through her car windshield. Kaitlyn Carwardine was also caught in the storm, which lasted 30 minutes but felt longer. No injuries were reported, but the cleanup will take time.
