A free program to help adults earn their high school diploma is returning to the Cartwright Community Resource Center in Oklahoma for the third year. All classes, materials and testing are free for Bryan County residents. Veteran professor and class instructor Connie Briggs believes the program will change lives and the lives of those who never finished high school. The program is grant-funded and covers all costs for Bryan county residents. Students can receive face-to-face instruction at the center, which is the only place in the area where students can receive such instruction. Students have found success in various fields, including beauty school and daycare jobs with the Choctaw Nation.
