Cubans are clamoring for dialogue with U.S. President Donald Trump, despite increasing tensions between the two countries. They expressed hope that differences could be resolved at the negotiating table, but also expressed skepticism over Trump's statements. The tensions have escalated after he vowed to stop Venezuelan oil and money from reaching Cuba and suggested that the communist-run government should purchase Licensing Rights. The two countries are currently in talks. Washington has imposed an oil blockade on Cuba, following the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Some Cubans have been encouraged to prepare for a war, but others believe they are not prepared for it.
