The New York Giants have signed Greg Newsome II, a corner who can play both outside corner and the slot, but still lack a reliable starter. Newsome, who has four career interceptions in 71 games, was traded to Jacksonville last season and was not re-signed by the Giants. Despite losing Cor'Dale Flott to the Tennessee Titans, the team opted to re-sign their 2022 draft pick. They also saw Bucs veteran Jamel Dean sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Giants will need to invest in a significant pick on a corner in April's NFL Draft. They need to replace Paulson Adebo, who is carrying a $24.1 million salary cap hit, and cannot count on Deonte Banks to improve.
