Cincinnati's No. 4 prospect, Lowder, allowed five runs (three earned) over 3 2/3 innings in a 9-7 loss to the Diamondbacks. Despite initially struggling with early contact, he managed to adjust and pitch backwards. Lowder is aiming to return to the big leagues after missing all of 2025 due to injuries. He had a 1.17 ERA in six big league starts over the final month of the 2024 season after debuting in August. Despite his struggles, he feels good about his spring performance and believes he can still make a significant impact in the future.
