South African author Deon Meyer has signed an exclusive rights agreement with production house Both Worlds and Paris-based Paradoxal to develop two of his most popular properties as premium TV series. Meyer is set to executive produce both projects, with "Umzingeli" (“The Hunter”) and “Dead at Daybreak” being adapted into multi-territorial spy thriller. The series is set across various locations and aims to be a returnable, character-driven action-thriller of international scope. Noah Stollman (Fauda, “Our Boys”), who is known for his work as lead writer and showrunner, is attached as showrunner.
