These Montreal pizzaiolos just became the best in the world

Groupe NO.900 and its sister brand Locali swept the International Pizza Challenge, considered the world's premier pizza competition, held in Las Vegas in March. Three members of the Québec delegation rose to the top of the global rankings, earning multiple world titles. Mirko D’Agata, the executive chef of Pizzerias No.900, claimed first place in the Pan Pizza category and won the title of World Champion Pizza Maker, an honour awarded to the best overall pizzaiolo across all categories. Patrice Desmeules and Fiodar Huminski were the top two winners in the American Traditional category and followed closely by a second-place finish in the same division. Other winners included Samuel Goddard and John Sanoudakis from Locali.
