Non-Binary actor Wesley Han, a writer, model, and actor, has sued the Soho Grand Hotel in New York City for discrimination following a "distressing" incident at the hotel in March. Han alleges that a security guard forcibly removed them from a bathroom after an event at the SoHo Grand Hotel. Han, who is a non-binary performing artist who can portray a wide range of characters, was wearing a feminine outfit at the event and was escorted to the men's restroom after Han was not allowed to use the same restroom as those in the women's. The complaint alleges that the hotel treated Han like they were "dangerous, predatory, or sexually deviant" simply for using the restroom that matches their gender.
