Ibelis Gonzalez, a 46-year-old woman from North Jersey, has been charged with theft by deception and other offenses. She allegedly stole $86,000 from six people between May 14 and June 10, 2024 from Citizens Bank branches across the state. The theft was discovered when she applied for a debit card using a fictitious Massachusetts ID. The total theft of personal identifying information is estimated to be at least $60,500.
