The Knicks were plagued by 20 turnovers in their second consecutive game against the Clippers, losing 126-118. The loss was sealed with consecutive Knicks turnovers in the final 3:05. Despite a strong performance from Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 33 points, the Knicks couldn't overcome the turnovers. Coach Mike Brown had previously urged his players to control the ball, but this was a repeat. The team's defense underperformed, allowing 24 points off turnovers. Despite improvements from Sunday's loss to the Lakers, this loss was blamed for the team's poor performance. The schedule for the Knicks will allow them to face tough teams in six of their next seven games.
