Jalen Brunson and the Knicks have remained mum about CJ McCollum's accusation that Brunson faked an injury to gain a technical foul during a game against the Hawks, which occurred during the second quarter of the Knicks' 113-102 Game 1 win over the Hawks. McCollom received a technical for kicking Brunson in the midsection during a jump shot and was also called for a travel on the play. Brunson did not immediately comment on McCollam's accusation. The Knicks coach, Mike Brown, stated that he did not see McCollumm's comments and did not believe they were intended to harm the team.
