New ‘Wheel of Time’ Animated Series, Feature Films and Video Game in the Works From ‘Arcane,’ ‘League of Legends’ Producer Thomas Vu

New projects based on Robert Jordan’s “The Wheel of Time” fantasy novels are in the works from IP owner iwot Studios and “Arcane” producer and Riot Games’ “League of Legends’ producer Thomas Vu. The partnership involves Vu and Anthony Borquez's media company, Initiate Entertainment. The projects, which do not yet have attached streamers or distributors, will be developed to appeal to a younger audience and expand the franchise's global footprint. These new projects are part of iewot's long-term transmedia strategy for "The Wheel Of Time" following the live-action TV series' cancellation at Amazon in May.
