The weekend box office is looking to bounce back after the successful launch of Pixar's Hoppers and Universal's third feature take of a Colleen Hoover novel, Reminders of Him, and A24's Undertone. Both films are off to strong starts with $1.9M yesterday from 3,000 theaters and are expected to exceed their forecasts of between $10M-$15M. The film, which follows a woman who attempts to reconnect with her daughter after a decade in prison, is expected to be a popular destination for female audiences this spring. The Bride!, from Warner Bros, ended its first week with $9.2M at 3,304 sites, and is predicted to plummet this weekend.
