Stephen Colbert Penning New ‘Lord of the Rings’ Movie

Stephen Colbert has been tapped to write a new Lord of the Rings movie, which will follow in the footsteps of Lord Of The Rings: Hunt for Gollum. The cast includes Kate Winslet, Ian McKellen, and Elijah Wood. The film will be directed by Andy Serkis and will be set to premiere on Dec. 17, 2027.
