The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Indiana Pacers 124-104, ending their three-game losing streak. The win lifts the team closer to clinching a top six seed and avoiding the Western Conference's play-in tournament. Despite the absence of All-Star guard Anthony Edwards and Jayden McDaniels, the Timberwolves won for the second time in six games. Ayo Dosunmu scored 24 points and Julius Randle and Bones Hyland each contributed 19 points. Ethan Thompson led by 17 points for the Pacers, and Obi Toppin and Jalen Slawson each had 14 points. The Pacers are still struggling to avoid posting the lowest single season victory total in their NBA history.
