Luka Doncic, a Los Angeles Lakers player, is seeking special medical treatment in Europe in hopes of recovering from a left hamstring strain faster than anticipated. The injury occurred during the Lakers' 134-128 loss to the Mavericks, marking the first game since Dontic and fellow star guard Austin Reaves suffered regular season-ending injuries during a game against the Thunder. An MRI revealed a Grade 2 strain, which typically comes with a recovery timeline of 3-6 weeks, according to InStreetClothes, an NBA injury database run by certified athletic trainer Jeff Stotts, which stated that the average time lost for this injury is about 35 days. The Lakers did not provide a timeline for Doncid's expected return to the court.
