Fox's medical drama, Doc, is set to air its two-hour Season 2 finale featuring a major event that leaves major characters' lives in the balance. The two episodes, "Stuck/Happy Birthday", will feature Emmy-winning veteran actor Judd Hirsch, who is returning to television after a three-year hiatus. The finale will see the central character, Amy (Molly Parker), risk her life for one of the series' main villains, Richard (Scott Wolf), who had killed a patient and blamed it on Amy, almost ending her career. Hirsch will play Herman Zweig, a Holocaust survivor with an infectious zest for life. The show has been renewed for a 22-episode third season.
