The event included a video message from President Donald Trump and a performance of Jackman's songs from The Greatest Showman and "New York, New York." Ivanka Trump, who Jackman maintains a close friendship with, was among the guests. Other notable guests included James and Elisabeth Murdoch and Prudence MacLeod, who were absent following a dispute over the family trust. The forthcoming Netflix documentary series, Dynasty: The Murdochs, will detail the battle among the four eldest Murdoch siblings for control of their father's media empire.
