Some fans have chosen to stay out of town or even live in their cars due to the high demand for lodging and transportation. Nathan Tohtsoni, visiting from New Mexico, experienced a cancellation without warning and re-listed his room at a higher price from a third-party app, which he and his family found after hearing rumors about hotels being canceling reservations. A Facebook group for El Paso concertgoers has been flooded with complaints about canceled hotels and Airbnbs, and many fans are now booking rooms outside of El Paso. Some local residents have stepped in to help offset the crisis.
