DuPage County Republicans are planning to use message trucks to protest against Gov. J.B. Pritzker, who they accuse of behaving more like a king than any other elected official in America. The message will be displayed on trucks carrying large electronic screens during protests across the county. The Republican Party believes this is the best way of conveying its message rather than marching or standing on street corners. However, No Kings organizers, Reid McCollum, chair of the DuPage County Democrats, see the rallies as an effective way to voice against the authoritarian actions of President Donald Trump's administration.
