The death of Jennifer Rodriguez, an employee with the Bexar County District Attorney's Office, is being investigated as a murder-suicide. The Bexanian Medical Examiner ruled her death from a gunshot wound and classified her manner of death as a homicide. The sheriff's office confirmed that the male victim, identified as 39-year-old Marcus James, was in a relationship with Rodriguez. Preliminary evidence indicates James shot Rodriguez before turning the gun on himself, and a 9mm handgun was recovered near the scene. The district attorney's office described Rodriguez as "incredibly hard-working, kind, and always brought a wonderful attitude to the workplace."
