Former Gopher and Minnesota hockey legend Lou Nanne on firing of Bob Motzko

Minnesota has fired men's hockey coach Bob Motzko after eight seasons. The decision comes after women's coach Brad Frost was also dismissed. Motzk, who led Team USA to a gold medal in 2017 and a bronze medal in 2018 at the world junior championships, had a record of 172-104-24 at Minnesota. He also led the team to five consecutive NCAA Tournaments and two Frozen Fours. Former Gopher and Minnesota hockey legend Lou Nanne spoke about the decision.
