Camilo Castillo, a 28-year-old man from Desert Hot Springs, has been charged with the murder of a man in Riverside County in 2022. The victim, Jayson Jamar Green, was found with multiple gunshot wounds and later died in a coma. Despite extensive investigative efforts, the case remained unsolved until new leads led to Castillo's identification in early 2026. He was arrested in Los Angeles and charged with first-degree murder, firearm enhancements, and prior prison offenses.
