Sterling Point creator Megan Park and co-showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (The OC, Gossip Girl) used her personal experience with colorblindness to create a personal twist in the show's first season finale, which involved a personal touch from Park's own life, the rarity of colorblindism in girls. The show's final reveal involved the identity of Ramona's biological father, who may have had an affair with Goldie, the adoptive mother of Annie (Ella Rubin) and Connor Jacobson (Keen Ruffalo). The show is now streaming on Prime Video. Park credits Schwartz, Savage and the writers' room for helping to plant seeds throughout the show to keep it going and branching out from the pilot she originally wrote.
