Johnnie Dee, frontman and co-founder of Honeymoon Suite, has been named Ambassadors for Record Store Day Canada 2026. The band, which defined their era of polished, radio-ready rock, was introduced with a vinyl release of their greatest hits collection, The Singles. Dee's recognition was more than nostalgia, as he recognized the value of vinyl, a full sensory experience that still resonates. The release of The Big Prize, which celebrates 40th anniversary, signifies a return to intention rather than complacency. The group had a fast rise from Niagara Falls, Ontario into international attention in the early 1980s with their debut album "The Big Prize." They opened for and toured with major international acts including ZZ Top, Heart, and Starship.
