Top Republican: Congress ‘not getting enough answers’ about Iran operation

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala), chair of the House Armed Services Committee, has criticized the Trump administration for not providing more information about the ongoing conflict with Iran. This comes as the U.S. and Tehran outline demands for an end to the Middle East turmoil. The Pentagon is preparing to deploy roughly 2,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne, based in Fort Bragg, N.C., and over 50,000 service members are already in the region. Since the Iran operation began, seven service members have been killed and six have been injured in the Iran retaliation campaign.
