Florida-based cosmetologist Vivian Alexandra Gomez has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter in San Mateo County, California, for administering silicone butt injections to a model named Christina Ashten Gourkani in 2023. The injections were part of an attempt to look more like Kim Kardashian and Gourkish. Gourky died shortly after the injections, with the FDA warning that silicone can cause stroke or death. A month later, Gomez was extradited to the county and has been free on $200,000 bail pending trial. She could face up to seven years in state prison.
