Suga, born Min Yoongi, is known for his innovative flows and production, often influenced by the evolution of U.S. hip-hop. He started out as a producer in his hometown of Daegu and never stopped making beats. He also helps mediate disagreements between other members of BTS. In an interview conducted at Hybe headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, he calls his work in BTS "this job" but still loves his work. In 2023, he completed a trilogy of releases under the name Agust D, his alter ego, and felt resolved after finishing the trilogy. He is now focused on focusing less on running out of things and instead on focusing on finding a way to run.
