The Nevada Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation (DETR) is offering support to former Spirit Airlines employees who were laid off following the airline's shutdown following a failed attempt to secure a contract. The agency's priority is to ensure timely access to information about unemployment and transition to new jobs. DetR's Rapid Response program will provide information on unemployment insurance, health coverage options, and reemployment services. Former employees can also access no-cost career and training services through EmployNV.
