The mystery surrounding the relationship between Rosalina and Peach, which has been a mystery since the 2007 Wii classic, has been resolved in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The movie allows creator Shigeru Miyamoto to put "some meat" on an idea he and game director Yoshiaki Koizumi had discussed during the development of the 2007 game.
