The AI Personality of the Year contest, a joint venture between OpenArt and Fanvue, aims to celebrate the creative talent behind AI Influencers and recognize their increasing commercial and cultural clout. The contest, which will run for a month, will also include categories of fitness, lifestyle, comedian, music and dance entertainer, and fictional cartoon, anime, or fantasy personality. The winners will be celebrated at an event dubbed the "Oscars" for AI personalities in May. The judges include 13-time Emmy-winning comedy writer Gil Rief, the creators of Spanish AI model Aitana Lopez, and Christopher "Topher" Townsend, the rapper behind AI-generated gospel singer Solomon Ray. Despite being designed to celebrate creators of virtual influencers, entrants don't need to publicly identify themselves.
