A pair of design studios, Modem and Retinaa, have developed a concept for a crypto ring called "Quartz", which adds friends to your network by shaking hands and generates a cryptographic key to all online communication. The ring is unique to the ring and uses a vein scanner to scan the wearer's unique blood vessels and pulse measurement to verify their identity. If any communication issues occur, the communication channels will be cut off. The project is currently being considered feasible for production.
