Ravi Vedula, a Microsoft corporate vice president, has written a memoir about his childhood in Hyderabad, India, titled "Hyderabad Days: The code we lived by before we coded". The book, which is filled with vignettes from a different place and time, is about the value system that we carry forward into the future. Vedula is now leading the data and insights organization behind Microsoft 365 and Copilot as the tech world navigates into the fast-paced world of AI. He also had a heart transplant recipient in 2001 and used a mechanical heart assist device for 18 months while waiting for a donor. The book was inspired by “The Wonder Years” where an adult narrator reflects on childhood events.
