Argentina has designated Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, following a push from the Trump administration for allies to do so. The country's presidential office attributes this decision to the IRGC's support for Hezbollah, which it accuses of orchestrating the deadliest bombing in its history. The measure allows for the implementation of financial sanctions and other operational restrictions. Both IRGC and Hezbollah are already designated as terrorist groups by the United States and other countries.
