Chase Field in Phoenix has unveiled upgrades to its home opener against the Detroit Tigers, including a new sound system, roof cables, and food items. The new 9,600-square-foot video board in center field is 52% larger than the old scoreboard and features a large number of information on board. However, new LED ribbon scoreboards around the upper levels partially obstruct the view of the field in some areas, causing some season-ticket holders to request new seats or refunds. The upgrades have been met with mixed reviews from fans. The Diamondbacks lost three consecutive games to the Los Angeles Dodgers, but fans believe they can turn their fortunes around with the home opener.
