A strong area of high pressure over the north and northeast of Hawai'i has strengthened, bringing moderate to locally breezy easterly trade winds across the islands. Despite scattered showers mainly falling over windward and mauka areas, most places are expected to receive light rainfall. The potential for a cold front moving in from the west could bring wet weather and potentially disruptive weather, but it is too early to determine the timing and strength.
