Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the US-Israel war against Iran will not take years, unlike previous conflicts. The conflict has escalated with Israel attacking Iran-backed Hezbollah targets in Lebanon and Iran attacking Gulf states that host U.S. bases. Israel also targeted the complex that houses Iran's state broadcaster IRIB in Tehran and targeted Hezbollah militants in Lebanon. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said its naval forces had destroyed the main command building and headquarters of a US.S., Israel's Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, warned that the hardest hits are yet to come from the US. The U.K. and Israeli air war began with attacks against Tehran, which killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and has dragged the wider Gulf region into the conflict.
