The latest stage of the development at Chelsea Barracks, which has been delayed due to market conditions, will see an increase in the number of flats delivered, with up to 515 homes delivered instead of 448. The decision was approved by Westminster City Council in an attempt to encourage developers to complete the project. The changes will see 87 apartments built across three blocks instead of 20 townhouses. The developer will have to pay £3.6m to the council's Affordable Housing Fund and £6.5m to be paid to the Carbon Offsetting Fund.
