Texas Tech Baseball drops Sunday finale at Utah

Texas Tech Baseball lost their Sunday finale against Utah, despite rallying within 6-3 in the fifth and falling by the same scoreline. Despite the loss, Texas Tech managed to score 3.2 perfect innings from reliever Jonny Lowe and 1.2 scoreless from freshman Logan Addison, who have now allowed just one run in his last eight appearances and have pitched 7.2 straight scoreless innings. Utah had taken a 4-0 lead and used a sac-fly from Gilliam and a two-out RBI single from SS Matt Flaharty to take a 6-0 advantage. The loss ends at least two days of Texas Tech's schedule.
