British automaker Morgan has revealed the Supersport 400, a performance-focused version of its flagship sports car, named as Morgan's most powerful car ever. The car is driven by a 402-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine borrowed from BMW and can reach 62 mph in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph. The Supersportsport 400 also features a Dynamic Handling package, which includes adjustable front and rear Nitron dampers and reworked suspension geometry. It will not be available in the US, where Morgan sells the Plus Four and Super 3. The company also plans to introduce bespoke and limited-run special editions in the next 18 months.
