Gwyneth Paltrow, the star of "Marty Supreme" and "Spence School," is opening a branch of her Goop Kitchen chain in Midtown West, New York. The first of several planned Manhattan outposts of the chain are expected to be located in Flatiron, the Upper West Side, and Williamsburg. The restaurant, which focuses on local produce, will be feeding most of Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn by the end of the year. This expansion follows a successful expansion in the West, with 11 Goop Kitchens in Los Angeles and three in San Francisco. The menu includes healthy, gluten-free options like fresh salads and bowls, pizzas, pastas, wraps and soups, and sweet treats like maple-pumpkin bread and cookies.
