Guardians use four homers to power past A’s, 12-6

The Guardians and Athletics combined to hit seven home runs in a spring game at Goodyear Ballpark in Cleveland. David Fry started the power display with a three-run homer in the first, leading the Guardians to a 4-1 lead. Rhys Hoskins and CJ Kayfus and Stuart Fairchild also hit home runs. Tanner Bibee was the winning pitcher, despite allowing six runs on 12 hits. The Guardians are now 11-11-1 this spring and the Athletics are 11-13.
