Shorewood Teen: 'I Don't Know Why I Grabbed A Knife,' Will County Judge Releases Defendant From Jail

Shorewood Police Department has charged 19-year-old Ryan Dube with aggravated assault against a peace officer and two crimes of domestic battery. Dube is accused of swinging a knife at Shorewood police officer Ryan Schloesser, placing him in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery while performing his official duties. The complaint also alleges that Dube struck his mother in the head and pushed her body. The Will County judge freed Dube from jail on Sunday and his hearing is set for April 6.
