Jason Derulo, a pop singer, is in a civil trial over the credits for his 2020 chart-topper "Savage Love," where he denies that a session musician on the song, Matthew Spatola, who played guitar and bass on it, is suing him for writing and production royalties. A verdict is expected next week.
