Real estate technology company Redfin has released its weekly housing market data, which includes numbers for the previous week ending on March 22. The data includes data from all Redfin metro areas across the U.S. and includes a median home sales price of $389,000, up from the previous four-week period's $386,000. This is a 2% increase year over year. Redfin's data also revealed that homes have been selling more quickly than in late January, with the median amount of time houses stay on the market being 56.25 days, or 6.5 fewer days than this time last year. Despite this, the data suggests that the housing market is becoming more competitive.
