Celeste Rivas Family in 'Indescribable Pain' as They Reject Rumors D4vd Paid Them

The family of 14-year-old California girl Celeste Rivas Hernandez is in "unfathomable pain" following allegations that platinum-selling singer D4vd murdered and dismembered their daughter. In a statement, Jesus Rivas, Celeste's father, refuted online speculation that D4VD had paid the family to gain their trust or silence. Prosecutors have alleged that Burke, born David Anthony Burke, stabbed Celeste to death to cover up his sexual relationship with her when she was 13 and he was an adult. He has been charged with first-degree murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains. Prosecutors also allege that Burke killed Celeste almost immediately after she arrived at her home in Hollywood Hills.
