Police have arrested 44-year-old Edwin Sanders for allegedly shooting and killing Estevan Gomez in downtown Albuquerque. The shooting occurred before 4 a.m. on Saturday. The men had been trying to steal a car when Sanders allegedly approached them and demanded money from them at gunpoint. When Gomez tried to drive away, Sanders allegedly fired a shot through the back window. Police used surveillance video and other tools to identify the suspect.
