S. police have charged 38-year-old Carlos Corte with second-degree kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, and an outstanding warrant. The incident occurred at a laundromat on East Main Street, where a woman was with her two children when Corte led them out of the back exit. The mother located her daughter in the children's play area at the nearby Patchogue-Medford Library.
